AAG Member Survey - Tell us what you think!

We're pleased to have this opportunity to ask our members to share their views on #AAG - what you like most, how we can improve, and how to help you get the most from your #membership.

The membership #survey helps AAG understand the needs of our membership and how we provide you with value. We take all #feedback seriously and have timed the survey to inform our upcoming AAG Board strategic planning workshop in March.

In just 10 minutes, you can assist AAG to continuously improve for the benefit of all members.

Have your say now at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AAG-Member-Survey-2025
Survey closes at 5pm AEDT, Wednesday, 12th February 2025.

Federal Government urged to adopt NACA Recommendations

The National Aged Care Alliance (#NACA) is a representative body of peak national organisations in aged care, including #AAG, working towards a more positive future for #AgedCare in Australia.

In December, NACA released its position paper Key propositions for career development and pathways for the aged care workforce. The paper is endorsed by AAG and a range of other peak national organisations, including service providers, unions, consumer groups and health professionals.

The paper's fourteen propositions aim to ensure that the aged care sector has a highly professional #workforce, adequately resourced with the right skill mix and staffing levels to deliver safe and high-quality care within diverse aged care environments. These propositions will be integral to meeting the objectives of the new rights-based #AgedCareAct recently introduced by the Federal Government.

You can find out more about the recommendations and the work of NACA at: https://naca.asn.au/.
